.hi - $620 mth, all bills included ie gas, water, electricity, internet. ( makes actual rent component = about $520pcm ). This is a medium / largish room, can be partly furnished ( see below ), and has floorboards not carpet. ( old ones not shiny new ones )

Our place ( ideally ) really suits an animal loving, veggie garden active, people caring, healthy food focused ( mostly ) and creatively active or interested individual. ( Someone that dances with the vacuum cleaner from time to time too. ). Ideally anyway, I would think.
You could say the place has a bohemian, artsy fartsy look and feel, lamps and second hand couches etc....generally the folks who DON'T like it are minimilists ( like sparse surroundings ), IKEA lovers, and folks who like shiney new things, furnishings and building. It's a 90 year old house with a farmhouse look and feel. Not perfect but it's cosy ( most say ) and has a good vibe ( I'm told ).
This is the larger room of recent rooms available.
Location - One of the most beautiful streets in melb IMO. NOTE : NOT the Australialisted map here but tucked away in a hidden gully, 7 mins walk from moreland station, which is a 20 min trip to the city. Apart from train, there is tram down sydney rd, and trams via east brunswick and lygon st through to south yarra, from the moreland rd / sydney rd tram depot. There is also the bike path running alongside the upfield line to the city, so you can cycle to the city without having to use the roads until you get to melb women hospital / MU campus area.
Smokers ? - prefer not, but a 'one-a-dayer / VERY social' smoker possible. No big smokers sorry.
Share w/- 1 guy ( community gardens worker / arts - music / web design / videographer / blogger -journo / ex-DJ / other stuff ), 1 other guy ( works near Full Time M-F, computers - IT, cycles, etc ), 1 happy cat , chooks to come. Sean's 29 and I wish I was again ( sometimes :) ) ....
** Bathroom under repair ( wall tiles ). Being repaired early july.
** Some recent storm damage to the old roof above the loungeroom. Repairs coming end of july, after the bathroom. Unfortunate but fixable.
*** The bedroom is now just furnished with a few things - a fan, a heater and a clothes rack.

It can save time if you can write a brief blurb on yourself - ( you wanna be living with people you can get along with and relate to in some way, at least, don't you ? ). DON'T FORGET TO ADD YOUR PHONE NUMBER PLEASE !! :) Quite a few forget to do that.

Sorry but :
1 : Animals - can't add any extra animals to my cat and soon, chooks.
2 : Couples - Can't do couples - leasing restrictions ( max of 3 people for 3 rooms. )
3.: No offence to anyone but If you're in that 18 - 24yr old range ( thereabouts ) you'd probably find the ' age / lifestyle ' differences not quite your speed, so it's not likely it would work here for you. Just sayin'. Often a wide 'range of ages' type of house - all depends ( 25-ish and upwards ). Unfortunate, but seems how it is.
